The #BigBlogmasProject

Hey everyone!

Hey everyone,

Look who's looking happy again. In my last OOTD, I couldn't even show my face because I looked horrid due to being ill. I've been fighting the cold and I'm much better as you can tell by my face.
I love showing you guys what I'm wearing because I feel like my style is quite different.

I'm loving my new boots, any chance I get to wear them, I chuck them on and go!
It's definitely getting colder and I'm actually finding it hard to layer up, I need to do some research (stalking other bloggers!)  on layering.

I'm going to be doing quite a few OOTD's this season, I'm really looking forward to showing you what I'm wearing. This is exactly why I love A/W, there's so many things to wear!

Hey!

As you lovely people can see, I've been shaaapping. I've been non-stop shopping since the end of October.

I'd been saving up money on my paypal so I could do some crazy shopping online, especially on eBay. 

I've had a huge obsession with eBay lately and it's clear from my haul that I haven't been able to resist.

I was on the hunt for some new make up brushes, I've heard some great things about eBay brushes including the RT dupes. So I decided to get a couple...or more. They were insanely cheap that you can't just scroll by, you have to purchase.

I also did a little shop in Primark, I need a new pair of slippers and these lovely memory foam ones made it into the basket, I also wanted some more midi rings so I decided to get a pack of 3 (I've lost one now :( ) of silver ones as I hardly have any silver rings. A coat was much needed as I really wanted a long boyfriend coat for a/w so this beauty was exchanged with another and now I wear it nearly everyday!

Missguided offered free next day delivery so I ended up being sucked in and I bought myself a new make up bag and ring (another one!). There wasn't much I wanted from Missguided so these were the only things that really caught my eye at the time! 

Speaking of rings, I purchased a pack of 9 simple, gold rings from eBay which I love, I definitely went overboard with buying rings but there are some really lovely ones out there at the moment. A pack of 9 rings for 99p, I couldn't resist!

I headed to Superdrug to see if they had the MUA matte lipstick range, however I could only get my hands on 3 shades, I want the other two as well, so they may be in another haul or the review.

I also picked up 2 MUA mono eye shadows, I love their eye shadows so I definitely wanted to stock up their neutral shades for when my Undressed palette is all empty!

I actually had another eye shadow as Superdrug are doing 3 for 2 at the moment but that one is for my upcoming giveaway.

'If you really need a mini tripod right now, head to Home Bargains, they're only 69p!' says Mama FashionSquash. Crazy right?!

And lastly, my beloved boots!

This is why I love eBay, you can search for anything and you'll find it. I originally wanted a pair of black, leather ankle boots with a gold buckle but when I saw these, I scribbled out my checklist and bought them. I love the colour, the quilted effect, they're not big and heavy like most boots are, they make my feet look in proportion with the rest of my body (I'm 5ft3). Love 'em!

Christmas EOTD Series #2

Hey guys,

Here is the 2nd post for my Christmas EOTD series. If you missed the 1st post, I said I'll be using my 120 colours eye shadow palette (review) to create all the looks for this series.

Today, I went for a green smokey/glittery look and I think it's great for the party season!
I'm actually having fun experimenting with colours for this series, let me know if there are any colours you'd like me to work with!
I think this look would go great with a nude lip or pink lipstick with lip gloss!

What do you guys think? Do you prefer the 1st look or the 2nd? I'd love to know!

  Hello lovelies,

Look who tried to get creative with her nails!
I'm not a huge nail polish wearer but sometimes you just need it to add that extra oomph to your look.

Last A/W, I was loving this nail polish, it was definitely my go to nail polish along with the black one. I hardly changed them because they looked good and it was easier than having to think about what to go for next!
What colours are you obsessed with during A/W?
Since then, it's been hidden in the back of my drawers feeling sorry for it's self, so I decided to whip it out and do something creative.
I love different colour tips, I love how simple they look even if you're using the wildest of colour. I think I'm also missing acrylic nails (not allowed them at college, health and saftey) where I always do white or black tips. Hurry up Summer, I need my acrylics!

I haven't done a nail of the day in such a long time, I usually show them during an OOTD but I like talking about my nails, they've been chipping and splitting like crazy recently!
Clear nail polish has been helping a lot, it helps harden my nails so I know that if I knock them they won't break as easily.

What are your tips and tricks for having healthy nails? Any products you'd recommend?

Woohoo, FashionSquash is a year old today!

To think I've been blogging for a whole year, that's absolutely crazy!
My blog genuinely started as a hobby, I didn't think too many people blogged at the time, I knew the 'famous' ones and didn't really venture out to discover this massive blogging community for a while.
I kept my blog to myself for months and didn't really want anyone finding it, I'm not sure why!

After a couple of months, I started using twitter to promote my blog and notice that there were a million other blogs out there.
At this time particular time, I didn't have many followers but I had a lot of people reading my blog which made me very proud.
After making a bloglovin' account, my followers started to build up and I used to sit there thinking 'wow, I'm at 30' which is nothing to some but to me that's a whole classroom reading my little blog.

I've met (not physically) some great people through blogging, it's amazing how there's so many bloggers and 99.99% they're so kind and helpful. Whenever I need help, whether it's a yes or no for an item I've bought or a quick question on how to sort my blog template, bloggers are more than quick to help you out. So thank you all!

In the year, I've been blogging, I managed to reach a 100 followers, now if I was excited at 30, you should've seen how happy I was when I reached 100! I was so, so happy, I even ran into the kitchen to tell my mum and she just replied 'aw, that's good!' She doesn't understand you guys!

I'm really happy with my blog and I'd encourage anyone that wants to start a blog to just go ahead and start, you don't know until you've tried. I'm glad I didn't stop blogging during the year as I've had the opportunity to do things I'd never have been able to do if I hadn't started my blog.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone, from my sister, who takes my OOTD pictures most of the time, to my close friend that has always supported me and my blog and to my lovely readers that take the time out of their day to read my blog. I really appreciate all the support, help and feedback from all of you. (I feel like I've won an award haha!)

I'm truly grateful for everything, thanks for reading, supporting and following! *big hugs*

Hey guys,

If you  follow me on twitter, you'd see my endless tweets about me trying to get rid of a throat infection. Ever since I caught one 2 years ago (that triggered my health condition), I catch them really easily now which is so irritating. My throat swells up, I find it hard to swallow and all that lovely stuff.

Being ill makes me so moody and rude, yes, I know being ill shouldn't be an excuse for rudeness but when you're ill, you're just not in the mood for anything. 

I've been drinking teas upon teas, teas in the morning, teas just before I sleep, anything that will help get rid of this nasty infection. It's not as bad as it was a couple of days ago but I hate when a cold just lingers.

On top of being ill, my wisdom teeth are acting up again! *sigh*

Moving on from my little complaining sess, my room has become a place for me to take OOTD's due to rubbish weather, I really want to find a great spot near my house for taking blog pictures. I'm already getting bored with my room but I'm gonna have to put up with it for now.

As you guys may know, I'm totally, totally obsessed with eBay right now, I've ordered about 12 things in the past 2 weeks which is actually really bad as I'm also going out and buying things too.

But anywho, I purchased a pair of boots, I'd been on the hunt for the perfect winter boots and I found a pair that I absolutely love. When they arrived, the colour was very different which I don't appreciate (sort out you lighting mister!) but I loved the colour even more. You know when you buy something and when it arrives in the post, it looks even better than it does online? Yeah, that's what happened here!

I'm glad I bought them, I'll do a little post-y on it later on, they were only £10! 

What do you guys think? Like the boots? Apologies for the not showing my face in any of the pictures, I didn't look too pleasant.

Have you found any great things on eBay recently?

Hey guys,

Another current favourites for you and today it's tops!
Tops aren't usually a big thing for me during a/w because people can never see them as they're hidden under jackets, blazers and cardigans.
Basics do great, black stretchy vest tops and oversized white tees!
My favourites are the tops I've been wearing over the past month or so, I find them easy to throw on with a pair of jeans and trainers or high waisted trousers and boots with my coat.

I definitely need to invest in more jumpers for winter, large knit, baggy ones as I don't have very many and I'm going to need them!
I can't wait to do my winter lookbook, those are my current favourite tops, what are your favourites this a/w?

What's In My Bag tag

Hey everyone!

About a week ago, I did a 'what's in my bag' post but it was the college edition so check it out as you get to see what's in my peers' bags too!

First of all, my bag is from Primark, it was around £12, I think and I originally bought it for college but I love the size so now I use it for nearly everything.

As you can see, I carry a lot of junk in my bag, from food to fabric swatches you'll find it in my bag!

My college kit is always in my bag on a college as it has everything I need in it, speaking of college, I also need my ID pass to get into college. Then we have my make up bag and purse which have all my essentials inside from all my make up bits to my key and oyster.

I also carry a hair brush and my Victoria Secret's fragrance mist, they are just extras in my bag which are only in there if I remember to chuck them in as I carry a perfume sample and hardly brush my hair during the day anyway.

My charger, phone and earphones are always, always in my bag, I make sure they're in my bag before I leave the house. I can't live without music on my bus journeys and there would be no music if I had a dead battery so charger is essential.

You guys got me on a bad day, I've got my lunch in my bag, not a healthy one but it makes me happy and hunger free! I always have my thermal mug with me because I hardly ever have breakfast before I go out in the mornings, I'd definitely recommend you all to get one, especially for winter! Who doesn't love a tea in the mornings?

Then we've got my miscellaneous items, a pen, half a pack of paracetamol which I always need as I'm prone to headaches and all that stuff. Tissues are essential never know when you might need them!

As a fashion student, I'm always in the process of making a garment or doing some kind of sampling and this time I managed to be doing both. I'm currently making a white shirt (post soon!) so I've got to carry that around with me and I'm also starting a new project at the same time which is why I have fabric swatches.

So I hope you guys loved taking a peek inside my bag, I can assure you I don't have this much stuff in my bag all the time (that's a lie). I'm actually surprised I can fit all of it into my bag, it isn't that big, it's a magical bag!
