Amsterdam Photo Diary

I'm back from Amsterdam and boy, it was a trip and a half.

Didn't actually do much whilst there so I couldn't do a daily post for each day so I thought I'd put together a photo diary instead.

I've said where all my outfit bits are from so that's a bonus for you guys. The cobalt blue backpack was a birthday gift so I have no idea where it's from which is annoying because I wore it literally everyday. If you know where it's from, please leave a comment for us haha

I definitely have to visit Amsterdam again as it seems like a nice city, I just couldn't get to explore it enough.

P.S I've been feeling a bit low since I got back which explains why FashionSquash has been pretty quiet. I do feel a bit better so I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of blogging.

NEW NAILS | Amsterdam, here I come!

Hey guys,

Two updates for you, one little, one kinda big!

Little one first. I've changed my nails once again, you guys know how I love to switch up the nails but I've been doing the "same olds" lately so there wasn't really much to show you guys.
However, I have changed the shape and done something a little different with the paint job so I thought I'd show you guys.

I decided to go back to pointy nails, I've been rocking coffin shaped nails for too long and I missed the pointy life so yay, they're back. Who prefers them? Haha I'd love to know!
The paint job is different because I got them airbrushed, they're a faded white tip which I love, love, love.
Quick tip: Getting your nails airbrushed is so much quicker and they dry almost instantly! I'd recommend it to anyone who's in a rush or just impatient (like me!)

Second update is an exciting one . . . I'm off to Amsterdam!
Bags are all packed and I'm ready to go. I haven't been to the Netherlands before so I'm excited to see what's in store while I'm there.
I've heard many stories about the place so I'm looking forward to experiencing it myself.

Unfortunately, I haven't got posts scheduled for while I'm away so FashionSquash will be a bit quiet for the next week. Don't worry though, I'll be back soon and with a great Amsterdam diary.

NEW IN | Birkenstock Madrid Eva

Birkenstock Madrid Eva Black

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'd know that I'm a Birkenstock fan. When I first started wearing them, they were the "ugly sandal" until they blew up and everyone started wearing them which was great because no one really calls them ugly anymore haha

Which brings me to my new pair, the Madrid Eva's.

They have the EVA range which in simple terms is a range of rubber Birkenstocks.

I was so excited when I saw them in Schuh because I'd never seen anyone else wear them.

I tried them on and everything, they fit great and were super comfortable as Birkenstocks usually are.

They are made of rubber so taking them to the poolside won't be a problem unlike normal Birkenstock where they can get ruined.

The rubber sole also means your feet don't mould the sandal so you have to get the right fit.

Schuh only offer the narrow fit which were perfect for me however if you have wider feet, I'd suggest going to a Birkenstock store to get the correct fit otherwise it would be pointless.

Schuh sell the Madrid Eva for £23, I use my student discount in there because why not? haha! So l think I paid £19 or £20 which is good enough for me.

It's a bargain in my eyes for comfortable sandals, they have a white pair too!

So these are now added to my Summer footwear, I love them, definitely get your hands on them if you're a Birkenstock fan.

Laces Lace Up Heels (alternatives 1 / 2 / 3 )

Yes my loves, this is probably the brightest colour I've worn all Summer!

I absolutely love this shirt dress, it was bought for me as a birthday gift and I couldn't wait to wear it.

Not usually a RI fan but I loved it when I was on the hunt for a denim shirt dress and to see it as a gift was nice haha

I wore it for a night out, it comes with a belt but I wore it without so I didn't look too casual.

These lace up heels are my life right about now, I wore the snakeskins for my birthday and literally couldn't wait to get the black ones out of the box and onto my feet.

Not much to the outfit but the saying is, less is more!

1 Week Skin Detox

Everyone has that time where their skin desperately needs a break from all the make up and nasties and that time came last week!

Heyyy!

Just wanted to quickly show you guys my new leather jacket.

A good jacket is my weakness and I hardly ever leave a shop empty handed if I've seen one, especially one ON SALE!

I went shopping for my birthday and I had to have a look in Bershka because I got my last A/W coat from there, which was also on sale. So it was a must!

I went in and they were having a big sale on most of their items and I spotted this leather beauty.
I'm not usually a fan of coloured leather jackets but I couldn't turn down this burgundy one.

I love the fit and the fur, I'm definitely going to be wearing this like crazy throughout A/W!

I got it on sale for £19.99 reduced from £59.99! Crazy right?!
It's no longer available online so definitely, definitely check your nearest Bershka store if you want to get your hands on this baby.
You can't miss this bargain!
