Berlin | Jylle Navarro

Hi everyone!

I'm back from Berlin and I had an awesome time, I'm super jet lagged and uni work is destroying me but I really wanted to show you guys a few pictures from my trip.

I wanted to start off by showing you a few pictures from the show.

As some of you may know, if you've been readers of my blog, that I was interning with Jylle Navarro throughout Summer. She's a knitwear designer based in London, I'm so privileged to have been able to work with her.

Along with interning with Jylle, her collection was going to be first shown in Berlin at Berlin Alternative Fashion Week. So as an intern, I really wanted to head to Berlin to watch the show and must I say, even though I'm biased, Jylle's collection was the best out of all the collections I saw that night.

Her collection brought life to show, it's alternative fashion week and only two collections out of the six I saw, did something out of the box, Jylle being one of them.

It was amazing to see all our hard work out in the open, being showcased to the world. Seeing all the pieces come together and all the accessories being styled was such a great thing to see.

Jylle's collection was based on 'Tribes' and the way different people live their lives in terms of traditions and culture.

Her collection reflected her aim very well, the way she presented her collection was perfect, the music choice was perfect, her collection as a whole, just worked.

I'm proud to have been apart of such an amazing thing. I've learnt a lot in the 4/5 months I interned with her, she's such a inspirational and creative person!

Hopefully, I'll get to work with her again in the future!

All in all, Berlin was a wonderful experience and I'm so glad I was able to travel there for something I'm so passionate about.
