Christmas EOTD Series #3 #bigblogmasproject Day 6

Hey everyone,

It's day 6 and I've got another EOTD for my Christmas series, I've been using my 120 colours eye shadow palette to create them.

I love the oranges and gold for Christmas, it's great with an all black outfit and a glossy nude lip.

I applied the coral shade all over the lid and then added the 2 dark shades into the crease.
I lastly added my highlight shade under my brows and added the gold shade in my tear duct.

What do you guys think? Is it a look you'd go for?
Let me know and thanks for reading

The Christmas Tag #bigblogmasproject Day 5

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
I've always had a synthetic tree so I don't know if I'd prefer a real one!

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
I'm definitely a 'hot chocolate' girl, I love me some chocolate.

3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
I love red and gold on the tree, my mum tries to change the colour theme every year but we always end up doing red and gold or blue and silver

4.  Giving or receiving?
I am a such a giver, even when it's not the festive season, I love making people happy. Christmas is a great time to give and giving is a great excuse for me to shop haha

5.  To mince pie or not to?
To mince pie definitely. I don't get why so many people don't like them, they're delicious, oh well, more for me!

6.  What's your traditional Sunday lunch?
We usually have a pork chop with roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and pork pies! Can't forget the pork pie! We also have sweetcorn or something with it. Love Sundays!

7.  Christmas day fashion
My pj's! I'm usually at home with family on Christmas day so I don't see the need to dress up but if I know the extended family are visiting, I throw on a nice winter jumper and some jeans or something.

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?

Destiny's Child - 8 Days of Christmas! Doesn't it feel like Christmas?!

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?
That's a hard one! It has to be between Elf and Home Alone, I could watch these films over and over again and still love them the same.

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?
In my house, we always leave the present opening until last, sometimes we open half on Christmas day and drag it out and open the rest on Boxing Day. We always do things differently in my house haha

That's the Christmas Tag from me, I tag all of you! Tweet me if you do @JesslynJuly, I'd love to read them all!

Christmas Guide | For Her #bigblogmasproject Day 4

Prepare for Pleasure MAC Divine Night Lipstick | Embellished Clutch Bag Topshop |

Hi guys,

Christmas is around the corner and I'm sure some of you have started running around like headless chicken to find those perfect gifts.

I've put together a Christmas gift guide and I'll be doing a 3 part series so first up is for the ladies!

All the mums, sisters, aunties, grandmothers, girlfriends, wives and daughters. Yes, all the women haha!
This gift guide is for them, I tried to pick out gifts, I'd want myself, maybe my mum or sister would want also.

My favourite is the Clarisonic Mia 2 Skin Cleansing System. I love to receive it as Christmas present. I'd it's on the expensive side but what lovely dad, boyfriend or husband wouldn't want to spend a little money *cough cough*

What are you planning to get as Christmas gifts for her?
Thanks for reading!

Mini Haul #bigblogmasproject Day 3

MUA Extreme Felt Liner Superdrug | Twin Pack of Gloves Primark | MUA Mono Eye Shadow Superdrug | Watch eBay

Hello guys,

Day 3 and it's another haul!

I know I put up a huge haul last week or so but I really can't help myself during the festive season. Whilst shopping for giveaway things and bits for my secret santa, I couldn't stop myself from buying things I didn't need.

I went it to Superdrug to buy some things for my secret santa gift and stopped off at the MUA counter (like usual) and I decided to make use of my trip and pick up a new felt eyeliner, not that I needed another one but I think it's a new MUA product so I thought why not.
I'm also loving the mono eye shadows, every time I go to an MUA counter, they have different shades so I picked up this dusky pink pearl eye shadow to add to my mono eye shadow collection!

Every year, me and my sister buy a twin pack of gloves from Primark because they're only £1 for 2 so we just buy and share them. Plus, they last!

Lastly, it's my beautiful arm candy, as you guys know, I'm a self confessed ebay addict, I need help, I bought a watch.
Before I say anything, look at how beautiful it is. Did you look? This watch was under £2! £2?! It looks so expensive, the fact that it's rose gold is amazing, the straps look amazing, the glass detail is amazing, it's just an amazing watch. It's a massive bargain and I'm definitely going to be wearing it a lot!

You've seen what I've bought, what have you lovelies been buying this festive season? Any bargains on eBay?
I'd love to know!
Thanks for reading and stay tuned
Don't forget to enter my giveaway!

Current Favourites | Brushes #bigblogmasproject Day 2

Flat Top Foundation Brush eBay | Buffing Brush Real Techniques Core Collection | Blending Brush eBay |  Pencil Brush eBay | Eyebrow Brush W7 12 Piece Brush Set

Hi everyone,

It's day 2 of the #bigblogmasproject and it's another one of my current favourites.
I'm showing you guys what I'm using on my face and loving!

As you can see the majority of my favourite brushes are from eBay, eBay is a great place to buy brushes at very, very cheap prices and the quality is amazing. I was originally on the hunt for Real Techniques dupes and found some and also found these beauties. I'd really recommend it if you're on a budget to have a look on eBay, you'll definitely find some lovely bits on there. Trust me!

My Real Techniques Buffing Brush is also a favourite of mine, it's a great brush but can only be purchased with the Core Collection, which is annoying because many buy the collection for the Buffing Brush!
It's definitely worth it and I love using it for my liquid foundations as it 'buffs' it in really well and gives that flawless finish.

Lastly, my eyebrow brush. It's not a unique brush but I use it every day without fail and it's one of my faves.
It's a brush that gets pushed at the back of my brushes because it's an essential one.
I use it to brush out my brows and blend it out when I've finished drawing them on. It does a great job!

What are your favourite brushes? Would you agree with my faves?
Let me know and thanks for reading!

Christmas Lust List | #bigblogmasproject Day 1

Hey guys,

This is my first post of the month and the #bigblogmasproject. At the beginning of each month I do a lust list and what better way than to start the month of December with a Christmas Lust List!

There's not much I want for Christmas, I'm more of a giver, I love buying and giving Christmas presents! These are a few things that I've had my eye on for the past month or so.

I really want an electrical facial cleansing brush and I found this beauty on eBay for under £5, the Clarisonic ones are way too expensive so this is a great alternative.

As I received a Casio watch from The Watch Hut a while ago and loved it, I've been eyeing up the gold version of it and I really, really want it.

There are also a few fashion pieces I've been lusting over too. The Topshop Croc Bomber is so beautiful, I love the detail and I'm a huge fan of bomber jackets!
I'm in need of some jumpers and I saw this lovely burgundy one on the New Look website.
Lastly, the Zara court shoes, I love the look of court shoes and they look so classy and clean. I really want a pair to have and these lovely Zara ones would be amazing to have in my shoe collection.

That's my Christmas Lust List, what are you lusting over for Christmas, I'd love to know!
Thanks for reading
