The Christmas Tag #bigblogmasproject Day 5

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?

I've always had a synthetic tree so I don't know if I'd prefer a real one!

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?

I'm definitely a 'hot chocolate' girl, I love me some chocolate. 

3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?

I love red and gold on the tree, my mum tries to change the colour theme every year but we always end up doing red and gold or blue and silver

4.  Giving or receiving?

I am a such a giver, even when it's not the festive season, I love making people happy. Christmas is a great time to give and giving is a great excuse for me to shop haha

5.  To mince pie or not to?

To mince pie definitely. I don't get why so many people don't like them, they're delicious, oh well, more for me!

6.  What's your traditional Sunday lunch?

We usually have a pork chop with roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and pork pies! Can't forget the pork pie! We also have sweetcorn or something with it. Love Sundays!

7.  Christmas day fashion

My pj's! I'm usually at home with family on Christmas day so I don't see the need to dress up but if I know the extended family are visiting, I throw on a nice winter jumper and some jeans or something.

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?

Destiny's Child - 8 Days of Christmas! Doesn't it feel like Christmas?!

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?

That's a hard one! It has to be between Elf and Home Alone, I could watch these films over and over again and still love them the same.

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?
In my house, we always leave the present opening until last, sometimes we open half on Christmas day and drag it out and open the rest on Boxing Day. We always do things differently in my house haha

What's In My Bag tag

Hey everyone!

About a week ago, I did a 'what's in my bag' post but it was the college edition so check it out as you get to see what's in my peers' bags too!

First of all, my bag is from Primark, it was around £12, I think and I originally bought it for college but I love the size so now I use it for nearly everything.

As you can see, I carry a lot of junk in my bag, from food to fabric swatches you'll find it in my bag!

My college kit is always in my bag on a college as it has everything I need in it, speaking of college, I also need my ID pass to get into college. Then we have my make up bag and purse which have all my essentials inside from all my make up bits to my key and oyster.

I also carry a hair brush and my Victoria Secret's fragrance mist, they are just extras in my bag which are only in there if I remember to chuck them in as I carry a perfume sample and hardly brush my hair during the day anyway.

My charger, phone and earphones are always, always in my bag, I make sure they're in my bag before I leave the house. I can't live without music on my bus journeys and there would be no music if I had a dead battery so charger is essential.

You guys got me on a bad day, I've got my lunch in my bag, not a healthy one but it makes me happy and hunger free! I always have my thermal mug with me because I hardly ever have breakfast before I go out in the mornings, I'd definitely recommend you all to get one, especially for winter! Who doesn't love a tea in the mornings?

Then we've got my miscellaneous items, a pen, half a pack of paracetamol which I always need as I'm prone to headaches and all that stuff. Tissues are essential never know when you might need them!

As a fashion student, I'm always in the process of making a garment or doing some kind of sampling and this time I managed to be doing both. I'm currently making a white shirt (post soon!) so I've got to carry that around with me and I'm also starting a new project at the same time which is why I have fabric swatches.

So I hope you guys loved taking a peek inside my bag, I can assure you I don't have this much stuff in my bag all the time (that's a lie). I'm actually surprised I can fit all of it into my bag, it isn't that big, it's a magical bag!

What's In My Bag? | College Edition

A bit of a different post for you guys today, I'm doing the 'What's in my bag?' tag but not the usual.

I think I will do the 'what's in my bag' tag soon, I just thought I'd share this one first.

In college, we are currently doing a project where we have to do customer profiles before designing a collection and we had to look at what everyone had in their bags to determine what type of person they were.

So we took out some of our contents that best showed our 'personalities' and we laid them out on a blank piece of A3 paper. Whilst everyone had theirs out, I took a couple pictures of different ones. Can you guess which one is mine?!

I think it's quite cool to see what people carry in their bags, I carry my life in mine, when I ask someone to hold my bag for a second, they always say 'woah, what do you have in here?' Weird thing is, I don't think it's heavy!

Birthday OOTD

Happy Wednesday everyone,

A couple days ago, Bethany from Perpetual Style tagged me to do the This or Tag, I hardly ever do tags but I thought why not, do something different.

So here it is!

Make Up

Blusher or Bronzer:

Definitely blusher, I never use bronzer, no reason for it, I just don't.

Lipgloss or Lipstick:

This is a hard one because I wear both just as equally as each other.
Ahh I'd have to say lipstick.

Liner or Mascara:

This is an easy one. Mascara.

Foundation or Concealer:

Umm foundation, covers the whole face

Neutral Eyeshadow or Colour Eyeshadow:

Neutral. I'm trying to experiment more with colour

Pressed or Loose Eyeshadow:

Never bought loose eyeshadow so definitely pressed.

Nails

OPI or China Glaze:

umm this is an awkward one, I haven't used either of them.
So going by the name, China Glaze haha

Long or Short Nails:

Long

Acrylic or Natural:

I love acrylic nails but the aftermath is hell so natural.

Bright or Dark:

Depends on the season, but most of the time, dark.

Flower or No Flower?
Flower? Who made this tag? Haha no flower, I guess

Body

Perfume or Body Spray:

Body spray

Lotion or Body Butter:

I'd say neither because I use Vaseline for my body but because I use Johnson's baby lotion sometimes.

Body Wash or Soap:

Body wash

Lush or Other Bath Companies:

Haven't used any Lush products so other.

Fashion

Jeans or Sweat Pants:

Jeans, I wear jeans 80% of the time.

Long Sleeves or Short Sleeves:

Long Sleeves

Dresses or Skirts:

Dresses, just easier to wear, all you've got to do is throw on shoes and a jacket.

Stripes or Plaid

Flip Flops or Sandals:

Sandals. what is pretty about a flip flop?

Scarves or Hats:

I loved scarves last A/W but this year beanies are going to be my favourite.
Can't choose!

Studs or Dangly Earrings:

Studs. Dangly ones don't suit me at all

Necklace's or Bracelets

This one's hard, why you make me choose?
I'd have to say necklaces because they can change an outfit more than a bracelet

Heels or Flats:

I love the look of heels but if trainers (I love my trainers!) are classed as flats then flats it is.

Jackets or Hoodies:

This one's easy. Jackets (after trainers!) are my favourite things to buy.

Hair

Curly or Straight:

Curly, just looks more fun.

Bun or Ponytail:

My hair's always in a bun, it's easier to do. Occasionally, I have it in a ponytail.

Bobby Pins or Bufferfly Clips:

Bobby Pins

Hair Spray or Gel:

Gel, I use it every single day, okay I'm exaggerating, most days, if I didn't, my hair would be all over the place.

Long or Short:

Short. Looks better on me, as my sister says every time I want to have my hair long.
Even to the point that my natural hair is longer than the weaves I do

Light or Dark:

Dark, I wanted to go light this Summer but after I accidently died it a dark red, I was happy it was lighter.
Maybe next year.

Side Sweep or Full Bangs (Fringe):

Side sweep, full fringes are too square haha

Up or Down:
Up, up and away.

Random

Rain or Shine:

Depends on what I'm doing, if I'm at home, rain all day.
If I've got to go out, I want sun shine please!

Summer or Winter:

Autumn or Spring:

Chocolate or Vanilla:

What about Strawberry? I'm going to be a rebel and say Strawberry, it's the best!
