Argan Oil Hair Treatment

Hi guys,

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you would've seen the post I put  up about 'How I care for texturised hair', I had quite a few people email and tweet me about how helpful it was. If you haven't read it, definitely have a look because it could help you out, especially if you have texturised/natural hair.

That post went down quite well and people were very interested in what I was using in my hair so I thought I would do more in-depth reviews on the products I use.

So first up is this argan oil. I remember my mum buying it for me and I was so excited to try it out, she also bought a heat defense spray from the same brand (review later).

I washed my hair that day so I could try it out, my mum couldn't understand why I was so happy, I couldn't either. I think deep down, I really wanted a hair product that would revive my hair.

I washed my hair like usual and when I had put in my leave in conditioner, I put the oil only onto my ends and then I put in my heat defense and blow dried like normal. I noticed my hair was very soft, only a little softer than usual.
I straightened my hair like I usually do and then I applied the oil lightly to the whole head.

I must say I am a bit apprehensive about using oily things in my hair because I hate oil products that make my hair limp and disgustingly greasy. This oil was quite light and not greasy, it added that shine it needed and that softness too.

I applied it every 3 or 4 days, depending on how my hair felt when combing it. I'd say it is one of my favourite hair oils after my trusty Black Castor Oil.

It's perfect for those that suffer from dull looking hair and need that extra healthiness.
I'd definitely repurchase (or make my mum buy me another haha), it's a great product and it's got all the bits and bobs I look for in a hair product.

Let me know if you've tried or will try this product, it's definitely a little gem in the midst of all the other hair oils.

Mid May Lust List

Hey!

Well, I know the title says 'Mid May' but were drawing near to the end of it however I need to do a pre-lust list before the month was out.
There's so many things I want right now that it was worth doing 2 lust lists in the space of a 1 week and a half.

I personally feel like my style is changing and I feel like I'm incorporating more staples into more wardrobe, I'm starting to love black, white and grey clothing. I've gone off colour which I would say is quite annoying because Summer's coming up and I want to wear colour but I'm just not feeling it. Simple jewellery is another thing, not big on statement necklaces, just hand me a barely there!

I've got on my eye on so many things that are calf length, I feel that length is really flattering and I really want to purchase some pieces that are that length or make something that length!

Lilac is my favourite colour so when I saw the leather backpack, I fell in love and then fell back out when I saw the price haha!

Ripped jeans are the craze at the moment and I've been sucked in, I saw this pair on Topshop and they look amazing, I can't decide if I should buy a pair or stop being lazy and do a DIY(?)

Shoes are always on the lust list, what girl doesn't love shoes? Heels and trainers are my weakness, I'd happily give up my favourite jacket for a pair of new shoes. Love them!

I haven't been proper shopping in so long, just online orders every now and then but I really want to go shopping just got to find time!

Where are the best places to go shopping right now? What stores are doing it right now?
Let me know!

Dress Primark | Jacket New Look | Shoes Nike Blazers | Watch eBay

Hey everyone,

I know today's Thursday and a throwback post is supposed to be up instead.
Today was such a hectic day, our Spring fashion show at college went ahead and I got back around an hour ago and I'm exhausted.

This was yesterday's outfit, it was quite warm so I opted for a dress which I hardly ever do because it means, well greased and smooth legs. Effort upon effort.

I played it safe just in case it got cold or started raining (typical British weather!) but luckily it didn't.

I quite like this outfit, it's different to watch I usually wear, I'm a jeans/hoodie girl so this outfit did switch up the game a little.
I think I even instagrammed before I left in the morning haha sunshine going to my head!

I'll hopefully try and get back into a good blogging routine, half term is always great for that!

Simple Rings

Hi guys!

Excuse the fact that my nails need to be done. Hmm yeah.
But I just wanted to quickly share my love for rings!

Now not just any old rings but simple ones.
I feel that simple rings are statements in itself, I love how you can stack them up and not look like you're wearing too many.
I love how they can make your whole look go up a level or make you look like you've made an effort even when you haven't.

I've had a huge love for silver jewellery for the longest time but gold and rose gold have taken over.

I wear silver rings if I don't want my rings to be the focus, I think they are the most simple looking.
Gold is for those days you're feeling confident and edgy, I always love wacking on as many gold rings as I can in the morning.

What is your favourite type of jewellery guys? And what do you prefer, gold, rose gold or silver?
Would love to know your opinions!

What's New In Jess' . . . Closet | eBay Watch

Hello everyone!

Got something new, oh yeah!
I love me some eBay and I always get amazing bargains on there. Black and gold is one of my favourite combinations so I was on the hunt for a simple watch with that combo.

When on eBay, you must find what you're looking for and extra! I found this watch for £1.37, no one can tell me it was a waste of money (Mum.) The seller was selling them in 3 different colours; black, white and brown, I obviously went for the black.

Lucky for those that do want to go ahead and buy it, the seller relisted the item and it has gone down by a penny haha!
It arrived fairly quick considering it came all the way from great China, Shenzhen to be exact.
I love it, it's so simple and it's great for stacking up with bracelets and all that.

If you do want to buy it, here's the link but I can't be held responsible if you get addicted to eBay haha
