NEW HAIR

Hello everyone,

As you can see, my hair is completely different, once again!
I really wanted a change, I love the short hair but I wanted a break from straightening my hair everyday.
With the curly hair, I can just wake up and separate the twists I do every night to maintain the curl.

This hair has definitely got the wow factor if you don't see me very often, depending on how you separate the curls depends on how big the hair gets.
I'm not sure how long I'll have this hair in but I'm definitely going to enjoy it while it still lasts as I don't have curly hair very often!

What are your opinions on my new hair? Any questions? I'd love to answer them!

Winter Lookbook

Hi guys,

My long awaited winter lookbook is finally here, I love fashion during winter, there's so much to wear!
My lookbook is based on what I'd wear on a daily basis, for example, to college.
Jumpers are great to have in the wardrobe, they're easy to style, can be worn with pretty much anything and to anywhere if styled right.

Here are a few looks I thought I 'd share with you guys, most of the things I'm wearing were Christmas presents so I found alternatives for them!

Hope you like my lookbook,

Jesslyn
High Waisted Skinny Jeans Primark | Quilted Jumper (not sure, was a xmas pressie) similar | Coat Primark | Boots eBay

Jumper (a xmas pressie) similar | Cosy Leggings (a xmas pressie) similar | Wellies Aldi | Jacket Primark

Shirt Primark | Pinafore New Look (old) | Jumper Primark (sale) | Coat Primark | Shoes Nike Satires

Christmas Haul!

Yep, a christmas haul, I'm so not up to date, I completely forgot to post my haul and then I remembered I couldn't because there were a few pieces from eBay that hadn't arrived yet!
I didn't buy much because I got quite a few things as Christmas presents and I'm also trying to saving up for driving lessons so most of money went towards that!

Skirt Asos | Quilted Jacket Primark (sale) | High Waisted Skinny Jeans Primark | Jumper Primark | Sheer Blouse eBay | Electrical Facial Cleansing Brush eBay

Primark have some great bits on sale right now, if you haven't taken a trip, I'd really recommend you do!
There were so many jumpers on sale, it took me ages to decide on one and I definitely want to go back for more!
The high waisted skinny jeans were on my wishlist for ages and I finally got them and I love them!

Lastly, I really wanted an electrical facial cleansing brush and I found a 5 in 1 one on eBay and it's amazing, can't wait to review it!

And this is some of what I got for Christmas, I didn't really want to go into detail of what I got as most of it I don't actually know where they are from! So I just thought I'd show pictures of most things in 2 pictures (I opened them on 2 different days)

Hope you guys liked my christmas haul and what I got for christmas post!

Hey guys,

I've done a few posts on the brand, In Love With Fashion and this time the blogger's challenge was to pick out 5 top items from the sale!

Here are my top 5 to see all you fashionistas through January (and February!). As you can see I love the dresses they have in the sale, there is a huge range in the LOVE sale. I'm in love with the wrap front kimono dress, I need it in my wardrobe right now!
Tartan is a huge trend at the moment and the tartan biker dress is amazing, imagine wearing it with a leather jacket and a pair of boots!

I think the black courts with gold detailing are beautiful, I've been on the hunt for some black courts and these ones are great for under £15!

These are my top 5, I really suggest for you all to have a look at the LOVE sale, there are some amazing pieces on there.

Sorting Out My Wardrobe

Hey guys,

Hope the first week of 2014 has been productive and you haven't already given up on your resolutions!

One of my resolutions was to get organised, so this week I decided t0 get my wardrobe nice and tidy. My wardrobe had been a mess for weeks and it was making me quite frustrated especially when trying to get ready. So I said, 'enough is enough, I'm going to clear up this mess!'

First of all, I took out anything that was in my wardrobe that wasn't hung up or just wasn't in it's place and put it into piles of skirts and trousers, tops and coats, jackets and cardigans.
I always find it easier to tidy up wardrobe when I've sorted things into categories.

I then took all the hangers that didn't have anything on them and put them all onto one side of my wardrobe so they'd be easier to find when re-hanging.
The random looking hanger on the right is what I use to hung up my belts, I don't have very many, just your standard neutral coloured belts, I buy them when I need them.

Just simply slip the belts through and voila, tidy and easy to find, I'm pretty sure I'll find some more in my drawers that also need tidying haha

I started hanging up the clothes I'd put into categories, jackets and coats first because they are easiest and then knitwear/jumpers, skirts and trousers and then tops. I also put my dresses into a section but they hardly get messed up because I don't really wear them.

So here's the before and after of my wardrobe, on the top part of my wardrobe I store my jeans, everyday tops that don't need to be hung, snoods and pj's!
My plan for this year is to get rid of my wardrobe and have a clothes rail as I feel it looks nicer and it will create more space in my bedroom so I'll update you guys when I do!

Hope you guys like my 'how I sort out my wardrobe' post and gave you a few ideas on how to sort out your own!
Thanks for reading and if you have any, leave me tips on keeping the wardrobe tidy!

Happy New Year! | New Year's Resolutions

Happy New Year!

Yes, I know, I'm late but better late than never! I can't believe how quickly 2013 went, I can't believe that in a week or so, my uni application needs to be done and that in a month's time, I'll have my first interview at London College of Fashion.
The year went too fast but I'm happy that it's got to the point in my life where no one needs to dictate what I have to do with it.
The past of couple of days have been full of course work, portfolio and samples which is the main reason why I haven't blogged, I've been working so hard and I really want to be confident that the work I take for interviews is up to scratch. I hate major changes and the thought of uni scares me sometimes but I'm so excited to be studying just one subject I'm passionate about.

2014 is such a busy year for me, when I think about all the things I have to do for each month it makes me so tired!
From worrying about uni to waiting for student finance to open, there's so much going on and there's no structure which makes me stressed and not want to do anything.
On the other hand, there's been quite a few amazing plans for this year, I've been invited to a few blogger events which is very exciting as I haven't been to any before so I'm really looking forward to those.
Also, I'm super excited to start my final collection in the Spring term, I can't to show everyone what I'm made of!

It isn't a new year without new year's resolution so here are mine:

Get organised.
I know everyone's saying they need to get organised but I really, really do.
I think a planner is a great thing for me to have as I'm so rubbish at organising and planning.
Especially with so many things coming up this year, I definitely need to get organised!

Get my license.
I know I'm only 17 but I want my license by the time I'm 18 (summer time!) I've always been motivated to get my license, I've been saying I want to get it since I was able to (16 and 9 months to be exact) and now I'm making it my mission to get it. Currently saving up for driving lessons.

Improve my blog photography.
I can admit I'm pretty lazy when it comes to blog photography and I really want my photos to look good on my blog. I want to make more effort with my OOTD photos especially, it's hard during the winter because the weather always messes up but I really want to up my game this year.

Work out at least twice a week.
This is going to be a challenge and a half, I'm so bad at sticking to my workout routine, I start off great for 2-3 weeks and then I give up and then start again!
I guess I give up quite quickly because I know I have a fast metabolism but that's no excuse, I want to tone up and be in good shape.

Sort out my blogging schedule.
Right now I don't have a blogging schedule, I just blog whenever and put up a post whenever.
I really want to get organised with my blog so my posts are consistent.
I think for now my blog pattern will be 2 days of posting and then a day without a post so in total there will be 5 posts a week so I'll make a schedule around that.

Save up!
I'm so crap at saving up but this year I need to cut back on the spending and really start saving up.

Those are my new year's resolutions, I think this year's all about organisation and beating procrastination!
I'm sure this year's going to be a good one, happy 2014 everyone!
